As a marketing professional with 10 years of experience, I strive for positive results through the application of my abilities in leadership and marketing strategy. In my current role as Associate Director of Marketing at FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, I lead a team of eight marketing coordinators, graphic designers, and writers to create innovative marketing campaigns and programs to increase enrollments and generate leads.
I manage media partners and vendors both nationally and internationally, handling six-figure contracts while monitoring deliverables and performance goals. This includes working closely with a Chinese recruitment agency to build channels such as WeChat, Weibo, and Youku.
In April 2020, I launched FIDM’s “Stay Inspired” campaign which highlights, on social media and through free lectures and workshops, how creatives in the community are staying inspired during unprecedented times. As a result, since the launch of this campaign, I have generated 394 new applications for Fall 2020.
Recent successes include:
-Launched “FIDM x Born This Way” campaign in 2019, highlighting diverse community members in partnership with Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation. The 9-month campaign resulted in the highest event attendance in record for the FIDM annual runway show and an increase of leads to applicants by 50% in the 2018/2019 fiscal year.
-Spearheaded a partnership with celebrity Kris Jenner for the 2018-2019 FIDM National Scholarship Competition which generated 4,000 leads, a 100% increase from the prior year. FIDM in turn awarded $350,000 in scholarship funds. For this year’s competition, I’ve secured the CEO of multi-million dollar company, BeautyBlender, as our industry judge and brand partner.
-Drove Virtual Lecture Series attendance from 400 to 1,000 registrants in the past six months while activating a national audience.
