Senior Designer / Animator

Artisan Creative is searching for a senior designer/animator to join an industry-leading e-sports agency based in Los Angeles, CA.

This role encompasses both designing and animating for sports broadcast in both studios and live stream environments, in addition to managerial duties overseeing team members. As the senior designer and animator, you will work alongside graphic producers and discuss design ideas that inspire, inform and captivate clients. Our client works with gaming publishers with global audiences and you’ll get to work on the most exciting e-sports broadcasts around.

-Design and animate broadcasts graphic packages and digital designs for live events and studio
-Design marketing materials, logos, merchandise, and print design
-Work with multiple style guides and brands to create sketches, storyboards, moldboards, and wireframes
-Manage a team of staff which includes planning departmental activities, timesheets and overtime management, and supporting personnel growth

Requirements:

• 5+ years of design, motion graphics, and/or animation experience with emphasis on sports, gaming, or broadcast
• Expert with Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects
• Strong 2d/3d graphics experience
• Experience with show graphics
• Strong understanding of broadcast design such as lower thirds, titles, or broadcast packages
• Ability to lead, mentor and manage a team
• Passion for sports or gaming
